About

Hi, I’m Taylor!

I’m a wife and proud mom of three amazing boys (14, 7, and 5). After being a homemaker for quite some time, I’ve recently returned to the workforce full-time. Over the years, I’ve experienced and overcome a lot in life, and I’ve seen other moms and wives go through their own struggles. It’s this shared journey that inspired me to start this blog and share the things I’ve learned along the way.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the importance of customization—what I call “The Taylor’d Life.” This means that we all have our own unique way of doing things, and that’s okay! I want to show others that, while we can all learn from each other, we can also adapt and tailor those lessons to fit our own individual needs.

In my quest to find easier ways to manage my household, I’ve realized that sometimes, the old-fashioned way is the best way. I’ve learned that there isn’t always a hack or trick to get things done, and that good old-fashioned hard work can truly pay off.

Life at home is always busy, and our family has recently welcomed a new addition: a dog! We’re learning how to feed her right, make our own dog food and treats, and find the perfect toys and bones for her. Taking her for walks and to the dog park is a new adventure for us, and teaching her to go potty outside has been an experience.

In addition to our new furry friend, I’m also navigating the challenges of getting kids to do their chores and teaching my older children to contribute more around the house. We’ve started giving allowances and are working on managing video games and technology with our kids. Finding alone time with my husband and having date nights is important to me, and I’m trying to prioritize that.

I’m also focusing on cooking more often and healthier for my family. Learning new recipes and slowing down to cook and bake the right way has been a learning process, but it’s worth it to provide nutritious meals for my loved ones.

As we enter the world of homeownership, I’m learning how to maintain everything, fix what goes wrong, and know when to call in a professional. Finding the right worker for a job can be tough, and I’m working on finding ways to make our home better without breaking the bank.

My blog is for all the moms and women out there who might be feeling lost, alone, or in need of a helping hand. I want to create a community where we can share our experiences, learn from each other, and support one another as we navigate the ups and downs of life.
